1 tsp sesame seed
3 T anise seed
3 C vodka
1 1/4 C granulated sugar
1 C water
Combine seeds in a clean quart jar, add vodka. Cover tightly, let stand 10 days, shaking occasionally. Strain into decorative bottle. Combine sugar and water in saucepan, boil for 2 min. and remove from heat. Let stand 10 min. Combine syrup with liqueur. Age at least 10 days before serving.
