1 tart apple
4 T frozen apple juice concentrate
1/2 t ground ginger
1/4 t cinnamon
1 C cranberries
2 T sugar
2 T dark rum
Peel, core, and slice the apple. Combine with the concentrate and cook 5 minutes. Add the rest. Cook another 5 minutes.
You can also make this with pears and pear juice concentrate. Recipe can easily be doubled or halved.
