2/3 C brown rice syrup
1/2 C peanut butter
1-1/2 T butter
1-1/2 T oil
1-1/2 C rolled oats
1/4 C oat bran (can substitute ground nuts or wheat germ)
1/4 C flax or sesame seeds
1/4 C sunflower seeds
1/4 C dried fruit
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine the brown rice syrup, peanut butter, oil, and butter. Stir in the oat bran and then the remaining ingredients.
Grease a 9×12 baking dish and press the mixture into it. Bake for 20 minutes or until it browns slightly around the edges. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
