Here’s another one of those cake recipes where you pour something yummy over the top to flavor it and keep it moist, like rum cake and lemonade cake.
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 C vegetable oil
6-oz package instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1 C peach Schnapps, divided
1/2 C plus 2 T orange juice, divided
1/2 t orange extract
1 C powdered sugar
Beat cake mix, oil, pudding mix, egs, 3/4 C schnapps, 1/2 C orange juice, and orange extract together. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes. Do not remove from pan.
While cake is hot, combine remaining schnapps, orange juice, and powdered sugar (you may have to heat it slightly to get the sugar fully dissolved). Poke holes in the cake and pour this over the top. Cool cake in pan for 2 hours before turning out and serving.
