GOLDEN PEPPER PICKLES

6 medium onions
2 gold peppers
2 red peppers
1 yellow pepper
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup salt and let sit for 12 hours. Drain, rinse.
3 cups vinegar
3 1/2 cups sugar
15 whole cloves
2 T mustard seed
1 tsp tumeric
Bring to boil; add drained peppers. Boil 20 mninutes. Put in jars, leaving 1/2″ headroom. Process in boiling water 10 min.
