HALVAS

1 C olive oil
2 C flour
1 T cinnamon
Chopped walnuts
Syrup: 3 C water, 2 1/2 C sugar
Heat oil in frying pan. Gradually add flou and cinnamon, stirring constatnnly, until flour is dark brown. Meanwhile, boil syrup for 10 minutes. Pour scalding syrup over halvas and stir constantly until it thickens up. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, then put in small containers like muffin tins. Serve on a platter, sprinkled with walnuts.
