2 lbs finely ground lamb or beef
2 onions, finely chopped
1 C parsley, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t allspice
Mix well and form into 24 oval patties. Place on a greased pan and bake for 30-45 minutes at 350 F, until well browned.
Combine 4 T tahini, 1/4 C lemon juice, and 2 cloves of crushed garlic. Pour this mixture over the baked kufta, then return to the oven for about 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Serve as an appetizer, or as an entree with rice.
