From Gretchen Tomlinson at Battelle

1 head of cabbage (approx. 7 in.)
1 large onion, chopped or slivered
1/2 C sugar
1 C cider vinegar
3/4 C salad oil
1 t dry mustard
1 t celery seed
1 t salt

Shred cabbage and onion in food processor; mix in large bowl with all but 2 T of the sugar. In a saucepan, combine rest of ingredients (including the 2 T of sugar), stir constantly, and bring to a boil. Pour hot dressing over cabbage onion mixture. Cool. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
