Szechuan green beans

Two people can eat an entire pound of green beans this way!
Szechuan green beans
1 T canola oil
1 T dark sesame oil
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
6-8 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 t coarse salt
Dash of nam pla (fish sauce) or soy sauce
Sprinkle of red pepper flakes

Heat a heavy skillet or wok over high heat. Add the oil, and when it’s hot, add the green beans. Stir-fry on high for about 5 minutes, until beans are beginning to show signs of browning.

Add the garlic, salt, and red pepper and cook for a couple more minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the nam pla or soy sauce. Add more salt if you like. They can be served hot or cold.
