There’s no need to buy breakfast sausage that’s full of preservatives and unknown ingredients. You can easily make your own, mixing ground turkey or chicken with flavorings and binders.
Choose your favorite flavoring ingredients:
Ground ginger
Sage
Liquid smoke
Cayenne
Black pepper
Worcestershire sauce
Salt
Poultry seasoning
Thyme
Nutmeg
Finely minced onion or onion salt
To form the sausage patties more easily, you can add any of the following binders (optional):
Egg white
Oatmeal or oat bran
Bread crumbs
