Whole Wheat Beer Bread

2-1/2 C self-rising flour
1/2 C whole wheat flour
3 T sugar
12-oz can beer, room temperature
1/4 C bran flakes or quick oats
Mix all the ingredients together. Let sit for an hour and then put it into a greased loaf pan. Bake for about an hour in 350 F oven until light brown on top.
